Paradis studied Music at Oxford, where she was also the First Year Officer for her college, before joining our November 2021 Generalist cohort. Straight away, she really noticed the warmth of the Jumpstart community.
“The people I met have been so joyous, fun, and welcoming”
One particular highlight of the programme for Paradis was the training, where we provide 20+ hours of support to our grads in professional communication, Excel and interview prep.
“It was genuine practical training, which was something I’d never experienced before. But it’s something I use everyday in my job now and has proved invaluable”
Through the programme, Paradis found her current role of Omnichannel Analyst at Heroes, an e-commerce company that buys, operates, and scales consumer brands.
“I’m in the expansion team. Our company buys businesses, and we currently only sell on Amazon. My role is to think about how we can expand and move into other channels, such as Walmart and Ebay, to get as much profit as possible.”
Paradis summarised what she thinks makes a good company culture as:
“Somewhere where everyone feels happy and welcome, and where you feel comfortable asking questions so you can constantly be learning from your colleagues. Alongside great management and great people I can look up to as inspiration in the future.”
